Your Changing Learning Objectives

Evolving your practice

Many massage therapists start using deep tissue, sports, or relaxation treatments after graduating from their massage therapy program. After a period of time practicing we look for ways to improve the treatment results that benefit our clients. Increasing range of motion, function and pain relief is what usually motivates the person to see you.

We sometimes want to learn new massage techniques for the patients and sometimes we need to reinvent ourselves because of our own needs. Massage therapy is a physically demanding profession and learning to protect yourself from injury, fatigue and burnout is a priority. If you are not healthy then you are no good to your clients.

When you use gentle techniques which are effective for the client you also get the benefits of decreased stress on your systems. You will be practicing massage therapy with more comfort, getting better results and you may even find your practice growing.

Cranial Sacral Therapy:

A Gentle, Non-Invasive Massage Technique

Cranial sacral therapy is a gentle, non-invasive form of bodywork that focuses on the craniosacral system, which includes the bones of the head, spine, and pelvis. This therapy can be effective in reducing stress, improving mobility, and addressing a wide range of health issues. Our cranial sacral therapy course teaches you how to use this technique to improve the health and well-being of your clients.

Cranial Osteopathy:

A Holistic Massage Technique for Structural Imbalance

Cranial osteopathy is a form of osteopathic manual therapy that focuses on the bones and tissues of the head, neck, and spine. This technique can be used to address structural imbalances and improve overall health and well-being. Our cranial osteopathy course covers this technique in-depth, teaching you how to use it to address a variety of health concerns.

For those therapists that are wanting to go beyond the average and achieve more. The distinct specifics of the cranium will be covered. After you finish this complete course your results will be significantly better.

Fascial Facet Treatment:

Two Massage Techniques for Somatic Dysfunction

Many Massage Therapists refer their clients to have chiropractic adjustments when they can get the knowledge and be trained to assess and treat somatic dysfunction themselves. We use the term somatic dysfunction instead of a facet or chiropractic lesion because we are influencing all the tissue in the area.

Just like the muscle energy technique for the spine, we are making changes to more than the facet joints, such as the soft tissue, nerves, fascia and lymphatics. These subtle methods are suitable for the most sensitive of clients.

Practitioners such as osteopaths, utilize high-velocity adjustments 20% of the time and MET 80% to adjust the spine. The peri-ischial and auricular techniques taught in this course will also be included in the 80%. Wouldn't it be nice to combine treatments in your clinic to get the best treatment results instead of sending your patients away?

Sacral Balancing:

A Key Part of the Pelvis

The orientation of the sacrum's alignment is crucial when you think of the pelvis as the foundation of the spine. You can decrease a person's non-specific low back pain while increasing their range of motion with this cutting-edge training.

The instruction includes various tests to confirm your results using both static positioning and dynamic joint methods. The superior instruction will insure your comprehension of the topic, also the physical finger placement for treatment.
